Memories that last more than a lifetime

Captures of Life is made up of a team professionals in photography, video, cinema, interviews and editing. More than anything, we put forward the human being behind each project. For us, audiovisual work is an art that we practice with passion and determination.

At the very heart of Captures of Life lie our precious Capsule videos. The Capsule project is the result of a cultural mix between Africa and Europe. Driven by the desire to fill family gaps, lack of transmission, to answer questions left unanswered and above all, to create connections between generations. Capsule offers a unique and invaluable product in the midst of today's overconsumption of photo and video files. Each person who leaves takes with them a wealth of experiences that deserve to be shared and preserved. Capsule was created to address this problem before it was too late. Allow previous generations to tell their own story to all those who follow.

We are committed to capturing and preserving these intangible moments, transcending the boundaries of time and creating lasting connections between generations. Each video we produce is a spark of light in the library of your family history, a precious time capsule.

At Captures of Life, we are proud to be able to offer you a unique and poignant way to preserve these treasures of a lifetime. Each Capsule we create is a promise to preserve the memory of those who came before us, to pass on their heritage and to celebrate the richness of your family roots. Welcome to Captures of Life, where every moment is a Capsule of Eternity.

Graduated in anthropology and communication (+5 languages), I have developed expertise in photography, videography and visual editing to bring exceptional artistic projects to life. My dedication to humanity, intergenerational transmission and visual art permeates every facet of my work.

The inspiration to record life stories came from my grandfather who captivated us with his story during family meals. One day, his diagnosis came, his cancer leaving him only a few months to live. I then decided to create the first Capsule in order to immortalize his story, his expressions, his voice, and to engrave his message for future generations.

My combined experience and passion shape Captures of Life into an invaluable resource for our precious projects. Whether for companies seeking to promote their history or individuals wishing to capture memorable moments, I am committed to bringing your vision to life.

Passionate about cinematographic art and cultural wealth, I acquired a master's degree in public health and worked for several years in a hospital environment, supporting patients with diverse backgrounds. My training allowed me to deepen my skills in healthcare provision and broaden my knowledge in psychology and human sociology.

My passion for the 7th art and my talents as a screenwriter led me to follow comprehensive professional training in audiovisual creation, encompassing shooting, framing, light management, sound acquisition, editing, interviews and scenario design.

The fusion between my artistic passion, my academic background and my professional experience resulted, with the help of Alexia, in the founding of Capsule. I fully understand the importance of Capsule videos. I also would have cherished the existence of a Capsule video of my father before his departure. Unfortunately, it's too late for me, but maybe not for you. My memories, scattered in photos and videos, will never be able to reveal its essence as faithfully as he would have done in a Capsule video.

Death does not end love, nor erase memories. However, over time, these memories fade and become confused. Future generations have the right to know and see those who came before them. Present generations have a duty to do everything possible to perpetuate this transmission. Capsule is not just a video, it is a priceless treasure whose sentimental value grows over time.
